Endo Help is very excited that The Inquiry into Women’s pain report is out in the world! For the first time in history women (and those who face gender based discrepancies in care) were asked what their experiences of pain are and have been - and 13 000 responded.

Thank you to all who contributed your deeply personal stories. You are seen, believed and heard.

Now the work begins to implement the recommendations and create systematic change.

Great work Kat 💛

Thank you and well done Kat for all your work in this space. Much to do, but you have been instrumental in driving change.

To mark Endometriosis Awareness Month, please join Yoga instructor Jill Harris for a gentle, breath focused therapeutic yoga class to relax the physical body and the mind. Explore both moving and static postures focused around the needs of pelvic pain and honouring the participant’s starting point on the day. A short yoga nidra relaxation practice will be offered at the end of the class. Previous yoga experience not required.

This event is free and supported by the Kardinia Health Pelvic Pain Clinic and @berth_geelong. A morning tea will follow the yoga session to allow participants to socialise with peers and chat with our pelvic pain team.

Spaces are limited so book your space, and please email pelvicpainnurse@kardiniahealth.com.au if no longer able to attend.

When an endometriosis flare hits, self-care can help ease discomfort. Try:

💛 A warm bath with Epsom salts.
💛 Gentle breathing exercises or meditation.
💛 A heating pad on sore areas.
💛 Resting with your favourite show or book.

Prioritise yourself—it’s not selfish, it’s necessary. What’s your go-to for flare days? Share below!

Exercise might feel impossible some days, but gentle movement can actually help reduce inflammation and improve overall well-being.

Start with:
💛 Yoga or stretching to release tension.
💛 A short, calming walk in nature.
💛 Swimming for low-impact relief.

Listen to your body—some days rest is the best medicine, and that’s okay too.

🚫 MYTH: Painful periods are normal.
✅ FACT: Severe pelvic pain isn’t normal and could be a sign of endometriosis.

Too many people suffer in silence, believing their pain is “just part of being human.”

It’s time to change the narrative. If you’re experiencing debilitating pain, don’t ignore it—seek medical advice.
