If you require admission to hospital and have private health insurance, you will be reimbursed for your theatre and bed fees. The hospital excess will vary depending on your level cover. You will receive a Medicare rebate and private health insurance rebate for the surgeon and anaesthetist fees. An estimate will be provided before the operation. All out of pocket fees are payable 1 week before the operation.
Patients are welcome to self fund for hospital procedures and an estimate of costs will be provided for all planned operations and procedures where possible. All out of pocket fees are to be paid in full one week prior to hospital admission.
