1875 Chromolithograph Venetian Renaissance Design Inlay Nude Pattern Motif LOR1 YTG8 and other metalsThis is a rare original 1875 color chromolithograph that depicts a variety of interesting bindings and inlays from Venice, Italy, during the Italian Renaissance. Due to its proximal location to eastern Europe, it played a prominent role in introducing both Oriental and Arabesque designs to European art. A unique feature of this illustration, which may be difficult to see in the digital image, is the use of gold and silver ink that not only shimmers
