2020 Domaine Grosbois Chinon Gabare, Loire, France Nashville Barrel Company fresh pineappleFrom Demeter certified, biodynamically farmed Cabernet Franc parcels on the left bank of the Vienne, where sand, gravel, and light clay yield a lifted, aromatic style of Chinon. Hand harvested fruit is fermented with native yeasts and aged in cement and older barrels to preserve purity and crunch. The 2020 shows dark raspberry and redcurrant, graphite, leafy spice, and a subtle pyrazine snap, framed by fine, supple tannins. Bright acidity and a clean
