2021 Fossil & Fawn Chardonnay, Eola-Amity Hills, USA Vignale di Cecilia 2021 Bloomer Creek Skin FermentedThe 2021 Chardonnay was sourced from two organically farmed vineyards the 46 year old, own rooted, dry farmed vines at No Clos Radio (83% of blend), and the newly planted Marin Vineyard in Yamhill Carlton AVA. Chardonnay from No Clos tends to be bright and lean, while the fruit from Marin Vineyard brings a plushness to the wine. The grapes were pressed, settled, and barrel fermented in a mix of Oregon and French oak. Bottled unfined unfiltered.
