2016 Louis Roederer Cristal Millesime Brut, Champagne, France Colete Glenmorangie 'The Astar' Single MaltCrafted only in exceptional years from the houses grandcru parcels, the 2016 Cristal blends 58 % Pinot Noir with 42 % Chardonnay, with 31 % of the base wines aged in French oak and no malolactic fermentation. In the glass it's brilliant pale gold, the bead ultra fine and persistent. On the nose: fresh red berry clarity from the Pinot (raspberry, strawberry), floral lift, citron zest brightness and subtle yeasty brioche depth. The palate delivers
