"Above/Below" Hucheng - Black natural earth Height: ~7This hucheng is comprised of two pieces a ceramic base and a stoneware cover. The artists specifically wanted to emphasize the difference between the materials by using them both in the same item. The design of the drainage hole comes from a combination of the Chinese characters "" meaning "Above and Below". This can refer to the two pieces of the hucheng or to the the hucheng's function separating the teapot above from the water below. Diameter: 16cm
